These Terms and Services ("Terms") govern your access to the website located at ercinotomotiv.com (the "Site") and your purchase or use of home security products, professional installation, monitoring, maintenance, and related services (collectively, the "Services") offered by Ercino Home Security ("Ercino," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site, submitting a request for information, or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
You represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you create an online account or customer portal profile, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@ercinotomotiv.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Ercino Home Security provides residential security solutions that may include alarm control panels, sensors, cameras, video doorbells, environmental detectors, smart home integrations, professional installation, system configuration, user training, and optional third-party professional monitoring. Specific equipment models, features, and monitoring capabilities vary by plan and geographic service availability. Proposals and order documents describe the Services applicable to your property.
When you enroll in monitoring, alarm signals are transmitted to an independent, UL-listed or equivalently certified monitoring center ("Monitoring Provider"). The Monitoring Provider—not Ercino—dispatches emergency services according to your written instructions and applicable law. Monitoring does not guarantee prevention of loss, injury, or property damage. Response times depend on factors outside our control, including network conditions and public safety agency availability.
Installation appointments require safe access to your property and cooperation with our technicians. You are responsible for disclosing known hazards (asbestos, unstable structures, aggressive pets) before work begins. Minor cosmetic adjustments such as small drill holes for sensors may be necessary; we discuss placement with you in advance.
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the proposal. Prices may change if you modify equipment selections or if manufacturer costs change before acceptance. Unless otherwise stated, installation fees, equipment charges, and monitoring fees are billed as described in your agreement. Late payments may result in suspension of monitoring or collection activity permitted by law. Taxes and government fees are your responsibility where applicable.
Monitoring plans may include an initial minimum term. After any stated minimum term, services may continue month-to-month until cancelled in writing through your customer portal or by email to hello@ercinotomotiv.com. Cancellation does not automatically remove equipment from your home. You may continue to use locally controlled devices without monitoring where supported. Early termination fees, if any, are disclosed in your service agreement.

False alarms may result in fees imposed by local jurisdictions or your Monitoring Provider. We provide guidance to reduce false alarms but cannot guarantee elimination.
Cameras and doorbells may record video or audio where legally permitted. You are responsible for posting appropriate notices and using devices in a manner that respects the privacy of guests, neighbors, and household members. Retention periods for cloud-stored clips depend on your selected plan. Refer to our Privacy Policy for data handling practices.
Equipment carries manufacturer warranties as specified in your documentation. Ercino warrants that installation services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner for ninety (90) days from completion, excluding issues caused by misuse, alterations, or events outside our control (including acts of God, vandalism, or power surges).
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION OF THE SITE OR THAT ALARMS WILL PREVENT CRIME OR DETECT EVERY EVENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ERCINO AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO ERCINO FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) IF NO SUCH PAYMENTS WERE MADE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ercino from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The Site, logos, text, graphics, and software are owned by Ercino or licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, reverse engineer, or redistribute content without written permission.
The Site may reference third-party products, apps, or websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or availability. Your use of third-party integrations (voice assistants, smart locks) is subject to their terms.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site with a new effective date. Material changes to active monitoring agreements will be communicated according to your service contract. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which your service agreement is executed, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before initiating formal proceedings. Where permitted, you and Ercino agree that exclusive venue for disputes relating to these Terms shall lie in courts of competent jurisdiction in that state, unless otherwise required by consumer protection statutes.
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with your signed service agreement and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Site and Services unless superseded by a written amendment signed by both parties.
